Role: Cable Harness Assembly Technician
Location: San Diego, CA (in-office)
Salary: $71,000 - $80,000 / yr + stock options, 401k matching, and other benefits
Role Overview:
Seasats builds unmanned surface vessels that carry sensors at sea for months at a time. Our platforms serve defense, scientific, and commercial customers who need to see, monitor, and respond across vast stretches of open water.
We're looking for a Cable Harness Assembly Technician to install and manage electrical cabling across our Lightfish, Quickfish, and Heavyfish platforms. Most cable assemblies will arrive pre-built. Your primary responsibility will be installing them into connector plates and vessel hulls, routing and securing cable runs, and ensuring every cable and connector is correctly installed, labeled, and traceable.
You'll route and secure cabling inside the hull and make sure every connection can survive months of continuous operation at sea. As we ramp production across Lightfish, Quickfish, and Heavyfish, you'll be the person making sure cable install keeps pace with the build schedule on all three.
