LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

CACTUS FAMILY FARMS, THE SWINE DIVISION OF CACTUS FEEDERS, INC., IS SEEKING A LOGISTICS COORDINATOR OUT OF ITS OSCEOLA, IOWA LOCATION.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communication and scheduling of market hog loads with plants
• Communication and collaboration with Transportation department on schedules and load details
• Internal communication to farms regarding loads as well
• Professional relationships and interaction is also expected throughout the company including support staff at hog farms, nutritionist, and veterinarians, among others.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced dynamic environment
• Self motivates
• Swine experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines efficiently, and keep schedule
• Agricultural based degree preferred but not required
