** About the Position:**

Our company feedmill based in Orangeburg, SC, is seeking an adaptable feedmill operator to join our team! This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, and hours begin from 7:00 AM-4:30 PM. This is a unique position with cross-training in various departments.

Job Description:

• Utilize computer programmed batching system to receive and manufacture feed
• Perform preventative maintenance on the feedmill as needed
• Update and provide required documentation associated with all departments
• After appropriate training, operate all process equipment, including a forklift and loader
• Ability to safely drive and move trucks and trailers around the feedmill, or completethe necessary training to do so
• Perform duties within the Mill Department, including: loading, rolling, grinding, pelleting and receiving as needed
• Assist with duties in the grain elevator and receiving grain on the scales
• Perform housekeeping duties in, at and/or around facility
• Work independently in the absence of on-site supervision
• Always adheres to Cactus Family Farm’s (CFF) bio-security policies
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and wears the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Follows the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) developed and maintained by CFF
• Weigh each load and report any intolerant weights to the feed mill manager
• Verify all order details before final delivery and report any discrepancies to the manager
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when working with other employees and outside associates
• Other duties as assigned by your Manager

** Qualifications:**

• High School Degree or GED (preferred)
• 1-2 year’s experience working in feedmill or operating technical equipment
• Class-A CDL is a plus, but not a requirement
