Responsibilities: Drafting & Design: • Gather site data and create accurate as-built site drawings • 2D and 3D drafting in VectorWorks; grading plans, spot elevations, layer management • Produce photo-realistic renders using SketchUp or similar tools • Generate construction details, hand sketches, and takeoffs for estimating • Update drawings due to change orders and prepare drawing packages for construction Design Knowledge: • Apply landscape design principles under guidance of senior designers • Critique and review designs, suggest improvements Communication: • Liaise with architects, engineers, building departments, and other agencies Qualifications: • 2yr or 4yr degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design or similar • Proficient in VectorWorks (preferred) and/or AutoCAD (2–5 years experience) • Comfortable with SketchUp or other 3D modeling program (2–5 years experience) • Microsoft Office proficiency; Mac familiarity is a plus • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Creative, solution-oriented, and a team player • Highly attuned to detail and possess excellent teamwork and organizational skills • Excited to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced environment Compensation: $62,000 - $67,000 yearly
