We are seeking a junior to mid-level CAD Programmer with strong Autodesk Inventor experience and a background in iLogic or VBA programming. The ideal candidate will work directly with senior engineering staff to develop tools that streamline Bill of Materials (BOM) generation, improve design workflows, and support broader engineering process improvements. Over time, this role will evolve into a hybrid position involving both CAD programming and design support across multiple product lines.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with engineering leadership to automate BOM creation and related workflows in Autodesk Inventor.
    • Develop and maintain iLogic and VBA scripts to support automation initiatives.
    • Assist with programming Inventor add-ins using more advanced programming languages (e.g., C#, .NET), if applicable.
    • Document and standardize automation tools and processes to ensure maintainability and scalability.
    • Provide ongoing CAD and design support across engineering projects once automation tasks are established.
    • Participate in design reviews and assist with continuous improvement efforts in product development.

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in a CAD programming or design automation role, preferably within a manufacturing or engineered products environment.
    • Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Inventor.
    • Strong knowledge of iLogic and/or VBA for Inventor customization.
    • Familiarity with programming add-ins in C#, .NET, or other relevant languages is a strong asset.
    • Demonstrated experience working with BOMs and engineering documentation.
    • Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to solve process challenges through programming and automation.
    • Exposure to PDM/PLM systems.
    • Understanding of Energy, Oil & Gas, or heavy industrial project workflows is a plus.
