The Cadasta Foundation provides a global platform and digital tools to help marginalized communities and individuals document their land, property, and resource rights. We are seeking an Operations Coordinator based in Washington, D.C. to support our international programs and provide critical support to the senior leadership and to the organization as a whole. As a member of a small team, the Operations Coordinator has the opportunity to work with a growing and dynamic organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable people through land and resource rights. This role will provide a range of functions, including executive support, administration, grants and contracts support, program management, reporting, and admin support to new business development. The position reports to the CEO and also supports the Chief Program Officer, providing day-to-day assistance on travel, financial tasks, board and donor reports, presentations, and other functions. This position is an exciting opportunity to take initiative, learn new skills, and to grow professionally in the field of international development. The successful candidate will manage a range of tasks that facilitate smooth operations, build organizational systems, and support program delivery.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented and organized, with excellent writing and communication skills, a strong team player, and a passion for our work. We seek a candidate who has familiarity with the use of technology to solve development challenges, cross-cultural skills, and experience working in a developing economy context. We seek someone who is familiar with the operating environment of the international development sector (land experience an additional plus) as well as organizations such as NGOs, consulting and implementation firms, and/or donor organizations. Proficiency in one or more language other than English is a plus.
