    Caddie - San Antonio, TX Job Category: Caddie Position Type: Seasonal Compensation: $15.00 to $40.00+ per hour Depending on Experience Pay is based on the time it takes to complete a round of golf, normally 4 to 5 hours. Education: High School Degree Desired Title: Caddie - Independent Contractor Expected Level of Effort: A minimum of 4 to 20 loops per month varying seasonally. We are seeking self-motivated individuals with basic golf knowledge and flexible schedules to work as a Golf Caddie in San Antonio, TX. Ideal candidates possess superior customer service skills and can work weekends, as needed. Caddies are expected to work 1-5 days a week. Under the CaddieNow platform, caddies can accept loops (caddie term for a round of golf) on an individual basis and work as an independent contractor. For this position, you must have a general knowledge of the game; we do not teach golf as part of any certification. You do not need to be an expert golfer or have previous caddie experience to do this job well. However, all golf caddie job applicants will need to demonstrate their golf knowledge through an on-site certification process before servicing our clients. CaddieNow is a national company and is excited to begin servicing clients in the San Antonio market. A certification program will be hosted by Briggs Ranch Golf Club on Monday, February 18. Loops can start as early as February 20th. To be successful as a caddie it takes a personal commitment to service the golfer and take pride in providing the ultimate level of service to your player(s). Characteristics of a great caddie is an individual that is polite, friendly and has strong communication skills. Caddies are expected to have the physical ability to carry up to two golf bags (35 lbs. ea.) and have the stamina and ability to always hustle and remain in the best position to spot errant golf shots. Golf Caddie Job Education and Experience Responsibilities: - Must be outgoing and have a customer-first personality. - All Caddies are required to have general golf knowledge though you do not need to be an expert or even play well. Golf Caddie Job Responsibilities - Cheerfully interact and deliver world class customer service. - Calculate yardage for golfers. - Locate errant shots. - Maintain the course. - Clean clubs and golf balls. - Provide course knowledge and information. - Assist golfers with decision-making.
