ARIZONA SPECIALTY HOSPITAL is seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Tech to join our team. We are a fast paced surgical hospital committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. This position is PRN.

JOB SUMMARY:

The role of the Physical Therapy Tech is to provide hospital staff and patients with a level of safety regarding patient care during the physical therapy session by assisting the licensed Physical Therapist in educating patients and families regarding diagnosis and rehabilitation as well as The physical therapy tech is responsible for communicating with hospital medical staff and Physical Therapy department regarding patient status and progress.

Required Skills

• Graduate of a University or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a PT setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to implement PT modalities, hospital equipment, therapeutic exercise, transfers and gait mechanics as prescribed and under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills.
