As a BLOWN GLASS TYRO CRAFTSMAN APPRENTICE, you'll work in one or more of the 60-plus unique shops that call Silver Dollar City home. Gain a thorough knowledge of professional merchandising in a Theme Park atmosphere, through assisting in variety of merchandise positions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn scheduling procedures.
- Learn time keeping procedures.
- Learn performance review procedures.
- Assist with written communications.
- Help create and implement improvements in safety, guest excellence, profit contribution and job satisfaction.
- Contribute to team-centered projects like surveys, appreciation events, team outings and company events.
- Assist Supervisors and Team Leads with various projects.
- Complete one project benefiting at least one area as determined by management.
- Stock shelves, counters, and/or tables with merchandise.
- Operate Point of Sale register following cash handling and credit card procedures.
- Ensure proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards.
- Pick up, removes and records amount of cash in register at beginning and end of shift.
- Wrap and/or bags merchandise for customers.

Required Experience
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program in a related field.
- Must have basic computer skills with proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Pursuing a degree in a Business related field preferred.
- Previous Retail experience preferred.
