North Texas Surgery Center is looking for a top-performer RN Operating Room Circulator with solid knowledge of the operating room. This is a fast paced environment that is driven to reach the highest quality and satisfaction outcomes in Texas. Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Perioperative Services, the RN is responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients’ condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all time. The ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.

Required Skills

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

• Minimum two years previous experience working as an OR circulator required.

• Current Texas license as a Registered Nurse

• Current in BLS and ACLS.

• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.

• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
