The Guest Services Correspondent is responsible for most elements of the Aquarium''s annual pass program and serves as general receptionist including responding/routing of inbound telephone calls, mail and email.
- As a member of the Guest Services team, you will lead by example by being patient, kind, humble, respectful, selfless, forgiving, honest, and committed when interacting with one another and guests.
- Serve as a liaison between guests and cast.
- Track, source and report all annual pass sales and revenue.
- Ensure the performance of regular annual pass tasks including monthly renewal efforts, preparation of fulfillment packets, etc.
- Process all annual pass sales received via mail, telephone and email/internet.
- Work with the Guest Relations Manager and Marketing team on strategies to attract new annual passholders and retain existing ones.
- Operate telephone console, route calls and properly maintain phone records, including office telephone listing.
- Receive, sort and distribute mail; maintain mail bins.
- Responsible for the postage machine including maintenance, repair, and account recording. Develop and distribute monthly postage report.
- Provides general administrative support including but not limited to word processing, typing, record-keeping, and assisting with mass mailings.
- Comply with safety and security directives, policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills
- Excellent customer service skills; mature and professional manner; ability to communicate to clients, vendors and staff with poise and tact either personally or over the telephone.
- Demonstrated ability to use standard office equipment, including personal computer, postage machine, photocopier, facsimile machine, etc.
- Accurate typing and word processing skills at 50 wpm; proficient in computers including: MS Word, Excel and Access.
- Ability to work cooperatively with department directors and to prioritize, coordinate and complete assignments from several individuals in an accurate and timely manner.
- Excellent clerical, organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
