    The Registered Nurse provides expert professional nursing care; assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care rendered to patients with urgent, emergent or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices, ethics and concepts; participates in the organization and management of the practitioner’s practice; maintains positive relationships with patients, family members and other visitors, and fellow employees.

    Required Experience

    Urgent Care Only

    • Formal training will be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited RN school of nursing
    • Current RN state licensure
    • Current CPR certificate
    • Experience in clinic-based nursing

    Clinical Operations Only

    Required:

    • Current California RN license (BSN/MSN preferred)
    • Evidence of continuing education
    • Prior experience in, ambulatory care nursing
    • Current Basic Life Support Card

    Preferred:

    • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills

    Invasive Radiology

    Required:

    • Current California RN license
    • Evidence of continuing education
    • Prior experience in an acute care facility or formal classroom education
    • Current BLS from American Heart Association
    • Current ACLS from American Heart Association
    • Current NIHSS within 90 days of employment
    • PALS within 6 months of employment (for PHGSH only)
    • LA City Fire card, within 6 months of employment (for PHGSH only)
