    BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE MEDICAL CENTER - UPTOWN IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A PAYROLL/BENEFITS ANALYST IN THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT FOR FULL TIME OPPORTUNITIES. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

    • Responsible for supporting human resources activates. Coordinate new hire activities, including but not limited to employment and payroll verification
    • Responsible for managing recruiting efforts through hiring manager and directly managing recruiters and recruiting platforms like indeed or ziprecruiter
    • Provides information to managers, regarding day to day HR operations
    • Assists with human resources/training needs
    • Acts as a liaison between human resources department and management team
    • Responsible for processing of payroll on a bi-weekly schedule
    • Responsible for open benefits enrollment
    • Keeps track of all timekeeping records
    • Records payroll and data entry to payroll system
    • Responsible for processing of manual checks, when needed
    • Responsible for maintenance of all personnel records
    • Must be knowledgeable in company benefits, personnel, and payroll
    • Must be constantly vigilant about keeping all information completely confidential and is always in compliance with all hospital standards and state and national labor laws
    • Fulfills any duties assigned by management

    This position works closely with the Director of Human Resources and Corporate Payroll office.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor's (Preferred) in Human Resources, Business Administration or Healthcare Administration
    • Two (2) years experience in hospital business office or administration
    • Knowledge of payroll & benefits process, FMLA, Workers' compensation, and OSHA required
    • Good communication and people skills
    • Excellent telephone skills
    • Ability to screen incoming calls, adequately respond to telephone inquiries
    • Makes Confidentiality of the utmost importance in all duties
