    For over 30 years , PIH Health has partnered with Los Angeles Imaging and Interventional Consultants (LAIIC) —a physician-owned, medium-sized private practice—to deliver exceptional radiology services across our rapidly expanding nonprofit, three-hospital system in Downtown Los Angeles, Whittier, and Downey

    We are currently seeking Diagnostic Radiologists to join our dynamic team. At PIH Health, you’ll be part of a highly collaborative, collegial environment with seamless integration between diagnostic and interventional radiology. Our team benefits from state-of-the-art equipment , a comprehensive lung cancer screening program , and advanced Neuro, Body MR, Cardiac CTA, and Cardiac MRI capabilities.

    Case Mix: Emergency and Inpatient Radiology ONLY
    None of our locations are trauma centers

    We run a high-level, fully clinical IR practice with 6 IRs, 2 NIRs, and 3 PAs. We have service lines in every aspect of body IR TARE, PAE, GAE, cholangioscopy Spyglass), etc.) and enjoy a strong reputation in southern California. We service one of the busiest comprehensive stroke centers in LA County including performing approximately 120 stroke thrombectomies and 35 aneurysm coilings per year.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Fellowship-trained Diagnostic Radiologist
    • Board certified or board eligible
    • California medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
    • Strong clinical and communication skills

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION:

    1. Current License in the State of Oklahoma.
    2. BCLS required; ACLS required for conscious sedation; PALS.
    3. Completion of conscious sedation test.

    Candidate must be able to read, write and speak English fluently, have cognitive skills for math, reading, filing and sterile technique skills. Communication skills to deal well with employees, patients, families and physicians.  Vision for near, mid-range, far and accommodation.  Hearing for low, medium, and high pitch.  Job requires physical ability for long term standing, occasional sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching with reaching above head and below waist.  Job risks include exposure to blood and body fluids (high), contact with chemicals, lifting of 30 - 40 pounds, exposure to infectious disease, and exposure to radiation.
