The Clinical Social Work Supervisor provides leadership for staff and accountability for assigned Care Management operations. In conjunction with department leadership works to improve the quality of patient care, strengthen the financial performance of the department, and to improve patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. He/she serves as a role model and provides clinical expertise to the department staff.

Required Skills
Demonstrated ability to provide consultation and instruction to social workers regarding specific patient
issues
Strong communication skills, verbal, non-verbal, written and oral.
Knowledge of state and federal legal and regulatory requirements, policies, and protocols
Ability to manage staff including performance assessment, competency evaluation and orientation and training
With consideration to age, employee utilizes the approved process to resolve biophysical, psychological, educational, and environmental needs of the patient/significant others when administering care.
