Medical Park Tower Surgery Center is searching for an insurance verifier to join our Business Office Team! Located in Austin's Medical District we are right next door to Seton Main Hospital in the Medical Park Tower building. Our office is open Monday- Friday and observes all major holidays.

This position would be responsible for working alongside our other insurance verifier to ensure all cases are verified appropriately and timely, as well as, provide patients with payment options. Understanding insurance contracts and impeccable customer service skills are imperative to succeeding in this role.

Required Skills Required Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:       

• Thorough understanding of Company products and services
• Basic knowledge of distribution channels
• Strong understanding of promotional elements, customer motivations, marketing functions, procedures, standards

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Three or more years’ experience in office environment within a related field
• SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED

• Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information in a clear and concise manner
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications and necessary functions to capture, execute, and translate data
