THIS IS A FULL-TIME SEASONAL POSITION.
THIS POSITION WILL BEGIN 05/2022 AND ENDS 12/30/2022.
SUMMARY: Join our Entertainment Costume team. We are looking for someone with the capabilities to do daily costume laundry as well as costume maintenance/upkeep.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists with costume production including fitting, organizing, maintaining, and transporting costumes to and from venues.
- Assists Performers to dress and attends to costumes before, during, and after performances.
- Arranges costumes on dress racks in sequence to appearance on stage to facilitate quick changes.
- Cleans, presses, and spot dry-cleans costumes using a washer, dryer, electric iron, and/or steamer.
- Repairs costumes by hand and/or with the use of a sewing machine.
- Interacts with fellow employees without distracting them while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Keeps work area clean and maintains organization.
- Ensures compliance with all authorized operator requirements and safety procedures specific to the job assignment.
- Maintains dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules surrounding shows and events with required overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Skills
- Must be self-motivated and possess good organizational skills with proficiency in time management.
- Ability to work alone or in a team setting.
- Must be adaptable to change and work well in high-stress situations.
Required Experience
- Must possess a minimum of introductory sewing skills and be able to maintain costumes.
- One year of experience in theater costuming preferred.
- Combination of experience and/or education required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
