We are looking for a PUGET SOUND TERRITORY MANAGER.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Provide leadership and direction to the Puget Sound Territory, its Service Centers, Sales Groups, and associates.
- Create and execute a business plan that positions NC to become "the most customer-centric distributor in Puget Sound." The plan will specifically address:
- Sales Growth
- Gross Margin Improvement
- Associate Development & Retention
- Expense Management
- Asset Management
- Community Engagement / Charitable Giving
- Create, execute, and maintain a budget that addresses sales, expense, headcount, and EBIT.
- Maintain and promote Sonepar/NC compliance initiatives.
- Manage Territory financials and operating/capital expenditures.
- Direct supervision of Service Center Managers and Territory Business Managers.
- Matrix-management responsibility for Sales Managers.
- Actively promote and maintain the DOTP initiative while maintaining operational excellence.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- Ten years of industry experience required.
- Five years of construction or industrial sales experience required.
- Previous Management or Supervisory experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Clean driving record with no major infractions within previous 3-5 years
- Knowledge of NC Operations
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office/warehouse environment
- Travel to customer locations
- Occasional heavy lifting – up to 50 lbs.
