    We are looking for a PUGET SOUND TERRITORY MANAGER.

     

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Provide leadership and direction to the Puget Sound Territory, its Service Centers, Sales Groups, and associates.
    • Create and execute a business plan that positions NC to become "the most customer-centric distributor in Puget Sound." The plan will specifically address:
      • Sales Growth
      • Gross Margin Improvement
      • Associate Development & Retention
      • Expense Management
      • Asset Management
      • Community Engagement / Charitable Giving
    • Create, execute, and maintain a budget that addresses sales, expense, headcount, and EBIT.
    • Maintain and promote Sonepar/NC compliance initiatives.
    • Manage Territory financials and operating/capital expenditures.
    • Direct supervision of Service Center Managers and Territory Business Managers.
    • Matrix-management responsibility for Sales Managers.
    • Actively promote and maintain the DOTP initiative while maintaining operational excellence.

     

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

    • Ten years of industry experience required.
    • Five years of construction or industrial sales experience required.
    • Previous Management or Supervisory experience required.
    • Bachelor's Degree required.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Clean driving record with no major infractions within previous 3-5 years
    • Knowledge of NC Operations

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Office/warehouse environment
    • Travel to customer locations
    • Occasional heavy lifting – up to 50 lbs.
