    EL PASO DAY SURGERY, is seeking a motivated Registration Coordinator to join our team. El Paso Day Surgery is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. 

    The Registration Coordinator interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff. Admit patients and process their paperwork. Update patient demographics/information in system. Collect monies due and document in billing system. Handle funds per office procedure. Calculate patient’s portion based upon benefits, make pre-financial calls to communicate financial responsibility. Perform insurance verification of benefits for patients, as needed.

    This position will Cross training for other Business Office position.

    Required Skills

    *High school graduate or equivalent. *One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred. *Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties. *Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required. *Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial *Good communication skills.
