MEMORIAL HERMANN SURGERY CENTER THE WOODLANDS, is seeking a motivated OR Registered Nurse to join our team!

The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.

Required Experience

• - Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing. • - Two (2) years’ experience in surgery. • - Current Texas RN License • - BLS, ACLS and PALS required • - CNOR preferred • - Critical thinking skills. • - Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families. • Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to the operating room. • Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
