    Cadnetics has BIG plans for 2021, including expansions to Nashville, Tennessee, Orlando, Florida and Columbus, Ohio! We are seeking a full-time FIELD TECHNICIAN / REVIT MODELER to join our exciting team of professionals at our PITTSBURG OFFICE!  The ideal candidate will support the Field Manager and provide on-site support to ensure each project runs smoothly. They will also utilize their Revit skills to manage and execute designs. Position requirements include, but are not limited to:

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Assists the Field Manager with field related projects, setting project goals and deadlines, and ensuring budgets and project hours stay on track
    • Works with clients to schedule project mobilization and duration to ensure a smooth project through to completion, at the direction of the Field Manager
    • Creates functional models illustrating specific project schematics which includes, but is not limited to, the following: cross-sections, elevations, floor plans
    • Develops detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical, engineering, plumbing and structural specifications using Revit
    • Completes complex project tasks as assigned by the Project Manager and/or requested by the client.
    • Transforms initial rough designs in Revit
    • Ensures consistent adherence to all drafting and design work standards
    • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant field work experience
    • Associates degree in drafting or equally relevant drafting certifications required or obtained within three (3) months of employment
    • Proficient working primarily in Revit, AutoCAD is a plus
    • Strong understanding of reading and reviewing construction documents, building safety requirements, and complex drafting techniques
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

    REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

    Work could be in an office and/or remote environment, with travel to the work site.  The successful candidate will have excellent writing and oral communication skills and will be able to work both independently and with a team.
