    Cadnetics has BIG plans for 2021, including expansions to Nashville, Tennessee, Orlando, Florida and Columbus, Ohio! We are seeking a full-time MEP MODELER to join our exciting team of professionals for our PITTSBURGH OFFICE! This position can work full-time remotely from another city or state. The ideal candidate will support the technical team to ensure work is completed on time and on budget. They will create and maintain VDC, BIM and/or 3D models for project specific requirements and to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards. Position requirements include, but are not limited to:

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Reviews mark ups and redlines project drawings for Project Leads and/or Technology Specialists.
    • Maintains a thorough understanding of project workload and rebalances work as needed
    • Oversees the process of project drawing creating through all phases, schematic design, design development, construction documents, submittals, from beginning to end and as needed per project
    • Proactively identifies and communicated areas of deficiency/gaps along with proposed solutions on projects to support timely completion of work
    • Produces accurate 2D drawings, 3D modeling initiatives and projects
    • Reviews project files for compliance with standards
    • Coordinates modeling/drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other disciplines
    • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant project work experience
    • Intermediate level experience working with AutoCAD, Navisworks and Revit
    • Strong understanding of the VDC/CAD/BIM industry, concepts, practices, and procedures
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Experience within building services environment
    • Thorough knowledge of and compliance with Foster + Partners procedures and standards

    REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

    Work could be in an office and/or remote environment, with occasional travel.  The successful candidate will have excellent writing and oral communication skills and will be able to work both independently and with a team.
