    We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team.

    As a Restaurant Manager, your primary responsibility is to the customer, ensuring that every guest has a wonderful experience

    To be successful as a restaurant manager you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. You should be someone who leads by example, both in how you interact with your team as well as how to support our guests.

    You will also assume a variety of responsibilities and duties such as recruiting and hiring restaurant staff, training, overseeing food quality, creating and executing restaurant marketing strategies, developing menus, as well as greeting and serving restaurant guests and supporting service. Below is a more exhaustive list of your expected duties.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Must be at least 18 years old

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Ability to stand for long hours at a time and work in a fast-paced environment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Ensures food quality and food safety procedures are being upheld

    Has a guest focus mentality. The guest comes first!

    Ambassador of brand values and standards – lives the values and the brand standards and is consistently coaching and developing restaurant Team Members.

    Demonstrates the ability to follow cash control/security procedures, maintain inventory, manage labor, and takes the appropriate actions to ensure the restaurant’s vision and associated targets are met.

    Consistently and properly executes Food Safety & Line Checks, Travel Paths and Pre-shift Meeting Checklists and coaches accordingly to all findings.

    Assists General Manager with training and development of restaurant team members.

    Has authority to hire and terminate (in partnership with General Manager).

    Coaches at every opportunity.

    Ensure complete and timely execution of all projects/tasks assigned to.

    Ensure all Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health, and safety codes, as well as the company safety and security policies are being adhered to. Ensures that the restaurant is following the preventative maintenance program with regards to facility, equipment, and building maintenance.

    Ensure a safe working and Guest experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team

    Leader – proven leader of people with experience of hiring the right people into the right seats as well as developing and promoting his/her team.

    Manager – organized, detailed oriented, sets goals, and has a proven track record of delivering goals consistently. Can manage multiple deadlines with a sense of urgency.

    Continuous Improvement mindset – identify opportunities to improve restaurant results and restaurant culture.

    System-oriented – creates systems and checklists to ensure resources are used efficiently and effectively.

    Accountable – takes responsibility for mistakes, owns solutions as well as problems. Holds the team accountable.

    Tech Savvy – strong proficiency in ops-based technology & BOH software (i.e. Restaurant 365) and Microsoft Office

    Self-starter – for both business and self-development. Avid learner

    Guest service mentality – has a genuine desire to serve others and create connections

    Communication – strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

    Math Ability – This position requires excellent business math skills

    Reasoning Ability – This position requires strong problem solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to be flexible and adapt in any situation.

    Supervisory Responsibilities – This position reports to the General Manager and requires supervisor responsibilities of Assistant Managers & Team Members.
