    Junior Hospitality Llamas are entry-level team members responsible for delivering great customer experiences while preparing empanadas, coffee drinks, and other menu items in a fast-paced café environment. This role focuses on learning core café operations, maintaining high food quality and cleanliness standards, and supporting the team during busy service periods. Team members will receive hands-on training and opportunities to grow within Mpanadas as they develop skills and reliability. Responsibilities: • Tell customers their order total, accept payments, and return any required change • Keep the kitchen, dining room, and service areas clean and sanitized • Make sure that all orders are quickly delivered to the customers • Respond to customer questions and assist them in deciding what to order • Check the amount of money in the cash drawer at the start and close of each shift • Memorize recipes and procedures to ensure consistency across every empanada and drink. • Work fast, smart, and efficiently — this is a high-paced environment where speed and accuracy matter. • Follow instructions carefully and adapt quickly to feedback and new systems. • Prepare and serve empanadas, sauces, and beverages to Mpanadas’ quality standards. • Assist with catering orders — from prepping and packing to delivery (optional). • Collaborate with teammates to handle rushes and maintain positive flow during peak hours. Qualifications: • Fundamental math skills are necessary to successfully take payments and return proper change to customers • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently • Strong cash register and point of sale system experience are desired • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for working with people is essential • Prior experience as a cashier or working with money considered a plus Compensation: $14 hourly
