Job Summary We are seeking a Baker to join the team at our busy cafe! In this role, you will prepare a variety of pastry items, sandwiches and food items throughout your shift. There may be some crossover into other areas of the cafe like barista, acai and POS. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has some bakery experience and a passion for working in the kitchen. If you are creative, hardworking, and want to share your baking and food skills with customers, we’d like to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead

Bake a variety of and pastries for the day

Prepare orders for morning orders and lunch orders

Track, maintain, and report inventory shortage as necessary

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a baker, or kitchen worker is preferred

Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment

Knowledge of food safety practices

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Team player

Available for early morning shifts
