We are looking for a talented and creative Cake Decorator / Baker who can:
Prepare and bake cake layers according to recipes and production schedule.
Design and decorate cakes of various sizes and shapes for birthdays, weddings, events, and retail display.
Use fondant, piping, air-brush, sugar-craft and other decoration techniques.
Communicate with customers to understand their design vision (if applicable) and translate into cake design.
Maintain clean and sanitary work area, follow food safety and sanitation standards.
Manage inventory of ingredients, tools and decorating supplies.
Work flexible hours, including weekends and busy seasons (holidays, event schedules).
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a cake decorator or baker with decorating skills (piping, fondant, sugar art).
Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, artistic/creative mindset.
Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, bakery operations, inventory control.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines (especially for events/seasonal spikes).
Flexible schedule — weekends/holidays may be required.
Preferred:
Formal training in pastry arts or bakery operations.
Portfolio of decorated cakes or sample work.
Experience with custom orders (weddings, large events) or retail cake display.
