Responsibilities:

Design and decorate custom cakes, cupcakes, and baked goods for a variety of occasions

Apply frosting, fondant, buttercream, and other decorative elements with precision and artistry

Collaborate with customers to understand design requests and bring their vision to life

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in compliance with food safety standards

Manage multiple cake orders simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Assist with inventory management of decorating supplies and ingredients

Stay current with cake decorating trends, techniques, and seasonal designs

Requirements:

Prior experience in cake decorating, pastry arts, or a related baking role

Proficiency in fondant work, piping, and buttercream techniques

Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design and aesthetics

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus)

Strong communication skills for interpreting and fulfilling custom orders

Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player
