    As a team we are eager to bring aboard a motivated individual eager to further develop their skills as a cake decorator at our Paris Baguette in Ladera Ranch. They execute our recipes with precision and care, ensuring every creation delights our guests.

    Responsibilities

    • Decorate and assemble cakes, and desserts to recipe and visual brand standards

    • Follow production methods and maintain organized workflow
    • Ensure cake displays are organized and visually appealing in a
    timely and continuous manner
    • Prepare creams, fillings, icings, and toppings from scratch or components
    • Manage daily production plans and workflows to meet café demand
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe decorating station
    • Support special orders and guest customization needs when applicable
    • Receive, stock, and organize ingredients and supplies efficiently
    • Monitor equipment and ingredient inventory, notifying supervisors of any issues or shortages
    • Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks
    • Monitor product quality and consistency, because details matter
    • Complete waste logs, production sheets, or prep reports as required
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.

    Skills/Qualifications

    • The ability to work in and out of different temperature ranges, stand for long periods of time, work around possible allergens, and lift up to 35 pounds.

    • Familiarity with piping bags, whipped cream, fruit décor, and finishing techniques

    • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and labeling practices

    • ServSafe Food Handler's Certification (preferred)

    • Strong attention to detail, time management, and pride in presentation

    • Positivity, eagerness to learn, a friendly disposition and the ability to contribute in a team environment are critical.

    • Basic math (for counting) and reading skill. As well as at the ability to follow directions.

    • Minimum of 1 year of food handling or related experience

    • Minimum High School Diploma/GED or Some College, preferred.

    • Ability to work weekends and holidays.

    • High sense of integrity and ownership.

    • Time management, ability to prioritize and follow direction.
