Responsibilities:

Design and decorate custom cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods for a variety of occasions

Apply frosting, fondant, piping, and other decorative techniques to finished products

Consult with customers to understand their vision and execute custom cake orders

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary decorating workspace

Manage multiple orders simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Collaborate with bakers and kitchen staff to ensure quality and consistency

Stay current with cake decorating trends and seasonal design themes

Requirements:

Prior experience in cake decorating, pastry arts, or a related field preferred

Proficiency in fondant work, buttercream piping, and custom cake design

Strong attention to detail and artistic ability

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Strong communication and customer service skills

Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
