    POSITION PROFILE

     

    The position is very fast paced requiring quick reaction to insure on time customer satisfaction. The highest degree of accuracy is required to maintain the integrity of the inventory balances of the textile warehouse. Knowledge of the textile shop paper system is very important in order to solve textile warehouse problems.

     

    • Works independently to meet established deadline making decisions without detailed instructions
    • Works close with the Production Manager and Warehouse Manager in the coordination of production requirements and paperflow
    • The ability to perform posting tasks accurately and to work independently and make decisions required to accomplish standard departmental tasks
    • The ability to successfully interact with other departments in both sending and receiving information
    • Requires regular inside and/or outside contact at all organizational levels involving considerable tact and discretion to accomplish daily objectives
    • Comprehend, interpret and process associated paperwork and data collection tasks
    • Match and verify dye color against master samples
    • Read and interpret work orders and related paperwork

    Required Skills

    • Communicate with associates on all levels and shifts using written and oral communication skills
    • Associate must possess good math and analytical skills
    • Associate must be responsible for all aspects of safety, including the safety of other associates assigned to that function

    Required Experience

    • 2-5 years working in Manufacturing/Warehouse environment
    • Candidate must have the ability to read, interpret, and convert standard and metric measurements, including decimals and fractions, and provide instructions in the use of applicable measuring devices.
    • Proficiency with EBS/Telnet and Microsoft Office programs
