  • Responsibilities

    Quality Engineer Senior engineer responsible for overall quality planning related to manufactured and purchased products. Able to incorporate understanding of larger business systems and processes into improvement activities. This position will be responsible for the improvement of processes and technical quality planning, including review of contract requirements, designs, change orders, specifications and work orders. Will also ensure that our company and sub-tier suppliers comply with customer quality and special process requirements. Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Subject matter expert on Quality System and Customer Requirements.
    • Business fundamentals, understanding of program requirements and Business System Capability.
    • Creates new Quality System Direction and Documentation to meet emerging customer requirements.
    • Effectively resolves conflicts between personnel.
    • Interpersonal awareness.
    • Negotiation skills.
    • Technical focal with customers and auditors.
    • Mentors Quality Engineers.
    • Provides self direction.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    Education, Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy.
    • Read and understand drawings, including geometric tolerancing.
    • Pronounced qualities of leadership.
    • Sets the standard for Quality Engineers at Exotic.
    • Able to incorporate knowledge of business systems, manufacturing capability, and customer quality system requirements into a blended strategy for meeting quality, delivery, and profitability goals.
    • Must have excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with all levels of internal and external personnel.
    • Hands-on with strong mechanical aptitude, and capable of successfully balancing both the technical and administrative aspects of the position.
