    The Sales Support Liaison is responsible for managing all aspects of account relationships while providing account with excellent service and support. Core responsibilities include establishing strong customer relationships, specimen workflow management, and overall account management. This role is highly proactive and requires the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in account management, relationship development, and customer service. Success in this position will be measured by the customer retention and satisfaction of assigned territory and/or accounts.

    PRIMARY ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Responsible for managing several accounts post-sale and often being the “face” of the company to many clients.
    • Championing the customer/client at all levels internally and training Account Managers to efficiently represent the customer.
    • Ensuring they are aware with all competitive activities within accounts and preventing attrition.
    • Understands the needs of individual customers and sales team members and provides the appropriate level of assistance. This requires strong knowledge of products and services to align solutions to meet the needs of the client and our internal operations.
    • Feeding back all suggestions for improvement and market research to senior staff.
    • Consistently uses telephone courtesy and knows how to deal with customer dissatisfaction in order to professionally and expertly control the conversation when following up on requirements and educating customer of requisition and collection process.

     

    ADDITIONAL SALES SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • New customer set-up/paperwork follow-up. This includes processing new client paperwork and contracts with accuracy, communicating with various departments, proactively engage with field sales representatives and client if there are any issues with the onboarding process.
    • Provide regular follow up and refresher training to customer as required, including, but not limited to, training clinic staff in proper processing of requisitions and sample collection procedure. Schedule in-service training at client locations
    • Handle all customer inquiries and be responsible for the accurate maintenance of client’s information in the system including handling sensitive medical, financial and personal client data.
    • Ensure HIPAA, Confidentiality and Compliance policy, procedures, and standards are adhered to at all times
    • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
    • Regular and reliable attendance

    • Must be flexible and adaptable within a changing, fast paced environment

     

    EDUCATION:

    • Associated degree or equivalent experience required
    • Bachelor degree highly preferred

    Required Experience

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant experience. Healthcare/biotech and/or medical billing setting highly preferred
    • Previous experience using a CRM solution and/or database required
