As Calculate continues to scale, we’re seeking a Manager with a background in tax to expand the breadth and depth of our tax capabilities. This role will include preparing tax returns, developing tax strategies, and proactively managing accounting complexities as well as being a key player in helping Calculate scale.
WHAT YOU’D DO
- Work with clients and the Calculate team to prepare, sign, and file corporate and individual tax returns
- Strong technical tax knowledge and the ability to apply it to complex transactions
- Continually develop skills and broaden knowledge base to actively improve client service and business offerings
WHAT YOU’VE GOT
- CPA with 8+ years’ experience in tax
- Strong understanding of corporations required, partnership exposure a plus
- Knowledge to navigate state and local tax requirements
- Ability to work through multiple, concurrent, and competing demands through prioritization of responsibilities
- Effective communicator particularly with conveying simple and complex tax concepts and impacts to individuals who do not have deep tax experience
- Entrepreneurial mindset with craving to be a key contributor of building and scaling a business
- International tax exposure a plus
