The ideal candidate will be a self-starter able to work effectively, independently or in a team.? The highest attention to detail, as well as professionalism, is required for this position.? Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare legal documents and general correspondence from dictation or written format in an accurate and timely manner; draft standard correspondence; proofread, edit and format documents Organize and maintain electronic and paper document files Maintain and coordinate calendar and travel schedules; schedule meetings and make travel arrangements Accurate and efficient time entry of attorney services Prepare client bills, check requests and expense reports Process incoming mail Support other administrative assistants with work overflow Qualifications Minimum 3 years of employee benefits administrative assistant experience in a law firm Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and good follow up skills Strong oral and written communication skills Strong proofreading, editing and formatting skills Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in an effective manner Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines; must be able to work effectively in deadline pressured situations Excellent interpersonal skills; strong client service orientation Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365 Minimum typing speed of 65 wpm We offer a competitive compensation and benefits program and an excellent work environment.
