    In Office, Part-Time - Must Have Experience Our boutique Calgary law firm is seeking an experienced law firm bookkeeper to join our firm to assist with billing, reporting and posting to QBOnline. Clio Manage experience would be an asset. The primary function is to carry out the invoicing, bookkeeping and accounting functions of a law firm and coordinate with our external bookkeeper as well. The position requires an experienced and accomplished person with a strong bookkeeping and computer background. The position requires skills and experience in bookkeeping, accounting, law firm billing and legal software. The ideal candidate must have experience with Law Society bookkeeping requirements. Responsibilities: • Perform all bookkeeping functions, anonymously • Perform all client invoicing functions and other accounts receivable tasks • Pay supplier invoices and manage accounts payable • Perform all data entry of receipts and client invoices in accounting systems • Handle payroll and benefits administration • Provide all required financial reports to the firm owner on a monthly basis and review priorities with law firm owner Qualifications: Candidates should have strong organizational skills and an eye for detail and the ability to function as part of a work team. They should also have: • University/College degree/diploma in Accounting, Business, or similar programs • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a Law Firm bookkeeping position is required • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) • Experience with legal accounting software would be an asset - especially Clio Manage • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Meticulous attention to detail • Confident and dependable, with strong work ethic and initiative • We need someone who is a great self-starter, who is able to work independently and most importantly, we are looking for someone with a keen and attention to detail and who is trustworthy and highly ethical
