IT PROJECT MANAGER

This is a client-facing role focusing on managing IT projects in relation to NetSuite products and services as well as implementation of other Cali business systems. This position will work closely with end users, developers, 3rd parties, and IT department managing projects for new systems, integrations, enhancements, and adding new NetSuite functionality.

This position will also oversee the quality and change management processes for NetSuite, as well as manage and create NetSuite reports and saved searches. The successful candidate must be a creative thinker with proven project management and NetSuite experience. They will be a problem solver, fast learner, detail-oriented, and interested in learning and evolving the business.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide hands-on expertise in the areas of program management, software implementation, customer support and client account management
• Lead IT projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining project priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer and supplier relationships.
• Ensure all projects remain on schedule. Items with scheduling risk (potential delays) are proactively reallocated, assigned additional resources or properly re-prioritized.
• Responsible for notifying and informing all departments and stakeholders about aspects of project progress.
• Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in NetSuite and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of report writing, creating saved searches, and providing advice and guidance to others in these areas.
• Assist with implementation and management of NetSuite change management system, ensuring workflows and approvals are completed timely, and before projects commencement.
• Other duties as outlined by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3+ years in project management and client product/service delivery, implementing enterprise systems and software with at least 3 years managing large-scale and complex enterprise software projects.
• Experience / understanding of the NetSuite platform and familiarity with business & ecommerce process is preferred
• Experience in managing Agile software development projects
• BS/BA in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and deliver projects
• Strong organization and planning skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to provide leadership using best practice project management methods
• Ability to resolve problems with minimal management assistance; escalates appropriately
