    JOB TITLE: Customer Contact Center Representative

    REPORTS TO: Vice President of Customer Experience and Operations

    GROUP: Operations – Customer Contact Center

    Are you someone who enjoys helping others by fielding a variety of calls ranging from simple website registration login questions to providing technical support for multiple software applications? The Customer Contact Center Representative will become a member of a hardworking, enthusiastic, and dynamic team serving as the front line of support for the company via phone, fax and e-mail.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and fax.
    • Answer a high volume of calls on a daily basis.
    • Assist customers with website and software navigation.
    • Pre-screen phone calls for legal hotline attorneys.
    • Follow up with customers via email in a timely manner.
    • Continually learn about Association programs and communicate them accurately to customers.
    • Complete special projects for the department as necessary.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School Diploma
    • Experience dealing with a high volume of incoming calls
    • High level of computer literacy and proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Windows, Chrome and Microsoft Edge
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and type 40 wpm

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree

    ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Ability to learn new software quickly
    • Commitment to outstanding customer/member service
    • Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding customer service orientation.
    • Ability to function effectively in a variety of challenging situations and circumstances, including difficult project deadlines, demanding customers, tight budgets, and evolving goals and objectives.
    • Ability to work effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner.
    • Excellent work ethic and attendance.
    • Consistency in giving feedback regarding work progress, timetable, and issues

    • MS Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Knowledge Base
    • Rapattoni (Customer Database)
    • MS Internet Explorer
    • Epicor (Product Order Intake, Research Orders)
    • Magento Management System (C.A.R. Online Database)

    YOU MUST be located within a TWO hour commute of zip code 90020 in case asked to come into the office periodically.
