Summary:

The Plan Review Specialist is positioned to help deliver the last impression of our company to our customers. The Plan Reviewer plays a key role in how our clients view the California Closets dedication to delivering on quality products, innovative solutions, and white-glove service. The Plan Reviewer is the liaison between Design & Manufacturing, ensuring a seamless delivery of accurate CAD files. The Plan Reviewer also links to Purchasing, delivering accurate information for Purchasing to successfully fulfill on all Special Orders. The Plan Reviewer will also provide support in Job Processing.

The Plan Review Specialist is a salary, full-time position; located primarily at the Fort Myers, Laredo Production facility. Usual hours of work are Monday thru Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

However, additional time may be required, as needed, to meet the established commitments and/or maintenance requirements. This position is a contracted position that will require a separate Non-Compete, Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement.

Plan Review & Fulfillment Responsibilities

· Ensure all submissions are accurate to needs of Customer (Contract), Designer, Standard Product Guide and Standard Production practices

· Ensure that defects are kept to a minimum

· Meet with Design Consultants on an as-needed basis to perform Complexity Reviews of sold jobs and ensure that all details of the job are finalized

· Meet with Design Consultants on an as-needed basis for Pre-Complexity reviews to provide consultation on unsold jobs

o CAD direction

o Construction direction

o Product direction

· Ensure that all Special Orders are populated for the Purchasing Department

· Produce PDF files of the final CAD design for Shop & Installation.

· Update CRM (Dashboard/ Monday.com) with current Job Status

· Customer Experience Responsibilities

o The Plan Review Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all project deadlines are met, efficient process flows are maintained, and the Customer Experience is flawless.

Preferred Requirements:

· One year or more clerical or office experience

Physical Requirements:

· Valid Drivers License

· Lifting and moving material up to 20 pounds

· Bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head

· Standing, sitting, and walking for up to 8-12 hours a day

· Ability to climb stairs/stepstools/ladders when necessary

· Ability to talk on the telephone frequently throughout the day.
