The Market Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the region's operations, including managing staff, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and meeting performance goals.

You will serve as the primary point of contact between the branches and upper management, addressing issues, coordinating resources, and implementing strategies to optimize branch performance. Additionally, the California Market Manager is tasked with maintaining safety standards, managing budgets, fostering team development, and ensuring overall efficiency and effectiveness for the region.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Develop and implement strategies to achieve company objectives, including sales targets, market share goals, and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership & Management:
Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate employees, cultivating and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Financial Management:
Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring profitability and responsible resource allocation.
Sales & Marketing:
Drive sales growth through effective sales strategies, market analysis, and customer relationship management.
Customer Service:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving, and proactive customer support.
Operations Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations, including teams across Operations, Sales,
Marketing, Technician, Project Management, and potentially other capacities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
Relationship Building:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis:
Regularly review performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement:
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practice sharing across branches within the region.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Change Agent:
Support organizational change initiatives and contribute to the implementation of strategic directives within the region
What You Bring to the Team
Knowledge of the residential/commercial AV and construction market
Has relationships with architects, designers, building owners, contractors, vendors, and sales reps within the industry
Must have the ability to motivate others, inspiring them to achieve their full potential
Has experience in sales management
Capable of operating in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment and able to effectively deal with difficult situations
Has experience managing and leading continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or similar.
Extensive experience and knowledge of driving cross-functional improvements using continuous improvement tools.
Work Environment & Expectations
Monday - Friday with up to 50% travel expected. Ideally, someone located near a branch and able to work in the PST time zone. Travel will include various site visits across offices in California.

$150,000 - $175,000 depending on experience and skillset
