Under general supervision, the Accounting Specialist oversees all conservation easement financial activities. Prepares analysis of project budgets and endowment funding requirements for new projects in development. Manages all billable time records, invoices, and accounting for the Conservation Unit.

We are pleased to have helped permanently protect over 342,000 acres of privately-owned rangeland. The Rangeland Trust is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join its team of conservation professionals as it works to protect the next 300,000 acres of valuable working rangelands. The position provides oversees all conservation easement financial activities, prepares analysis of project budgets and endowment funding requirements, and manages all billable time records, invoices, and accounting for the Conservation Unit. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of accounting, finance, or project management experience. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in accounting, finance, business, or related fields. A competitive salary DOE and excellent benefits package available.
