The position we have available is responsible for Bookkeeper and the duties are critical to our continued growth and success. We are looking for a strong minded, intelligent, hardworking, resilient individual with experience and a grasp of both fields.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

Process documentation and prepare reports relating to accounting (payables, receivables, accounting and shipping documentation)

Assist in data entry

Monthly tax, city and county reporting

Billing, entering purchase orders, creating invoices and sales orders, inventory

Reconciling bank account, petty cash and credit cards

Providing clerical and administrative support to management and office

Prepare, enter and maintain filing of AP/AR

Input purchase orders and sales orders

Perform timely account reconciliation by verifying entries and comparing to balances

Handle customer and management inquiries

Prepare financial statements and perform vendor maintenance

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:

1 yrs. experience in AP/AR

College degree highly desired

Knowledge in GAAP

Experience in Peachtree

Basic accounting knowledge

Quick learner and intelligent

Excellent multi-tasking and project management

Strong organizational skills

Strong MS Office and computers skills

Ability to learn new software quickly

Recycling or shipping experience a plus

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving skills

The desire to do the job right every time

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

• $16.50 -$19 per hour DOE

• 3 days PTO

• Accruable Vacation Time
