    The Dispatch job opening is a highly valued position with us and we are seeking top tier performers! High level execution in this position is critical to our continued growth and success. We are looking for a strong minded, intelligent, hardworking, resilient individual with leadership experience preferably in wholesale, export or shipping industries.

    JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

    This position will oversee 15 drivers and any new drivers.

    Receives Pick-Up requests from customers and team members such as reps.

    Communicates back to customer via phone preferably and reps and confirms loads.

    Manages Pick-Up request using web and mobile applications

    Returns calls within 15 minutes when Pick-Up requests come via pick up application.

    Dispatches by using Company Software dispatch feature and google calendar.

    Ensures all scheduled drivers receive dispatch/work schedule with a telephone or text confirmation.

    Schedule delivery appointments when required

    Keeps drivers work load updated throughout the day by monitoring drivers’ routes.

    Prioritizes calls according to urgency and importance.

    Ensures best routes by reviewing customers’ addresses, maps, fleetmatics, getting drivers input.

    Oversees drivers work by monitoring them throughout the day and by preparing drivers’ reviews on regular basis.

    Manages Driver Logs and Daily Inspection Logs.

    Enforces record keeping.

    Ensures drivers are properly trained and updated with current company policies.

    Ensures drivers paperwork and files are in DOT compliance.

    Receives and manages vehicle daily issues by talking to drivers and reading daily Truck issues email.

    Receives and manages equipment issues for balers, bins, compactors, trailers and chassis, etc.

    Issues work orders to house mechanics and third-party mechanics as needed.

    Uses company resources efficiently.

    Invoices work order services and destruction loads.

    Dispatches maintenance team to location efficiently.

    Record keeping for vehicle maintenance, DMV Registrations, and vehicle records.

    Communicate with mechanics to ensure equipment repair including companies’ chassis.

    Maintain Dry run data entry into Company Software.

    Receives and Manages client yellow and orange sheets, entering equipment delivered data to Company Software .

    Ensure all outbound metal loads have shipping tickets.

    Oversees equipment inventory and equipment availability such as bins, trailers, baskets, etc.

    Communicates with Shipping and receiving to coordinate outbound shipments and get current equipment status such as destruction loads, empty trailer count.

    Prepares weekly and monthly reports for customers and management as needed.

    Addresses issues and ensure permanent fixes.

    THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:

    3 years’ experience in leadership, customer service and or dispatching

    Bi-Lingual in Spanish is required

    Competitive Drive, Resiliency, Follow Through and Positive Attitude

    College degree highly desired

    Experience in CRM programs and enterprise type software

    Strong mathematical, problem solving and analytical skills

    Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

    Quick learner and intelligent

    Excellent multi-tasking and project management

    Strong leadership and organizational skills

    Strong MS Office (Excel) and computers skills

    Ability to learn new software quickly

    Effective communication and interpersonal skills
