    Title: Physical Therapist

    Location: Fountain Valley, CA

    Overview: We are in need of a full time Physical Therapist in our outpatient orthopedic/sports rehab clinic. We want someone who wants to become an expert clinician and passionate about helping people with a combination of manual techniques and therapeutic exercise. There is the “science” of therapy and there is the “art” of therapy. We are seeking someone who can incorporate evidence-based practice with the ability to communicate and connect with patients. New grads are welcome to apply.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to patients in accordance with all pertaining laws and regulations
    • Deliver services in accordance to the "Code of Ethics" and the "Guide to Professional Conduct of the Physical Therapist" and “Guide to Physical Therapist Practice” as set forth by the American Physical Therapy Association
    • Perform all duties as outlined in policies and procedures of The Practice
    • Offer the highest quality care possible in accordance with the current level of education and experience as well as ensuring the patient's welfare and safety
    • Act as an agent for the patient in regards to confidentiality
    • Appropriately supervise all ancillary personnel in regards to the treatment of the patient
    • Maintain all documentation on a timely basis and in accordance with the laws and regulations of the state’s policies and practices
    • Submit all charges for services rendered in accordance with current policy
    • Assist in keeping a clean and safe environment for the provision of physical therapy services
    • Assist the Clinical Director in the operation of the non-patient aspects of the organization as requested
    • Attend all business and educational meetings scheduled
    • Keep active lines of communication open
    • Act in the best interest of the organization in both patient and non-patient areas
    • Adhere to teaching as well as learning in all aspects of the organization
    • Participate as needed with community and professional education programs
    • Protect the community from abuse in the delivery of physical therapy
    • Act as a positive reflection to the community

    Education & Experience:

    • 1 - 3 years of experience preferred
    • Licensed Physical Therapist required by the state
    • Graduated from a physical therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association required

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Actively seek out educational opportunities to advance your clinical skills
    • Good knowledge of functional movement mechanics is a plus
    • Participate in personal and professional activities for your overall growth and development
    • A community-based mentality is a plus
    • Local candidates preferred
