    Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (part time)

    Location: Beverly Hills, CA

    Overview: We are in need of a Physical Therapist Assistant in our outpatient orthopedic/sports rehab clinic. Under the direction of a physical therapist, the assistant will aid in a variety of patient care, including performing test, evaluations and help in complex procedures. You will work with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement the agreed-upon course of care of each patient. You will be responsible for adhering to the department’s treatment schedule, clinical procedures, and billing documentation of each of their patients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work with the physical therapist to implement patient’s treatment program
    • Coordinates with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement activities and programs based on the patient’s individual treatment needs
    • Perform all duties as outlined in policies and procedures of The Practice
    • Handle scheduling of patient’s treatment, clinical visits and billing, and other documentation per the department’s requirements
    • Act as an agent for the patient in regards to confidentiality
    • Maintain all documentation on a timely basis and in accordance with the laws and regulations of the state’s policies and practices
    • Submit all charges for services rendered in accordance with current policy
    • Assist in keeping a clean and safe environment for the provision of physical therapy services
    • Attend all business and educational meetings scheduled
    • Keep active lines of communication open

    Education & Experience:

    • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant required by the state
    • Graduated from a physical therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association required

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • High on manual and ortho-sports skills preferred
    • Ability to progress patients toward their goals preferred
    • Must be a self-starter and has positive attitude
    • Willingness to work in a high-volume setting
    • High level of compassion and empathy
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel and lift heavy objects
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
