    Job Description

    March Products/California Umbrella has a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, personable Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will develop and maintain solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism. Some of these customer relationships will involve hands-on experience in a variety of marketplace and dropship portal management tasks. These portals include CommerceHub, Wayfair, Amazon, Home Depot, Overstock, Houzz, Target, and Walmart. You will also offer support to our sales and fulfillment teams, facilitating communication throughout the company and aiding smooth operations wherever help is needed.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Answer calls and emails with professionalism and knowledge of the patio products offered.

    Assist customers with signing up and navigating our website.

    Communicate effectively both internally and externally to meet customer needs and expectations.

    Oversee assigned customers through portal management and inbox monitoring.

    Assess warranty issues and other customer cases; deliver resolutions to these cases with professionalism and support.

    Follow up with customers in a timely manner and prioritize customers accordingly.

    Encourage positive reviews from customers and assess negative reviews.

    Data entry, including generating orders and shipping quotes.

    Open freight claims with carriers to investigate shipping discrepancies.

    Assist with updates to customer portals and item listings.

    Manage email inboxes to ensure they are kept organized and up to date.

    Manage time effectively and adapt to seasonal business operations.

    Perform admin tasks for support departments when needed.

    Have initiative, resourcefulness, self-motivation, and a high level of self-ownership.

    Exhibit customer service strengths in their daily work, including efficient typing skills, clear communication skills, patience under pressure, and attention to detail and accuracy.

    Be able to meet deadlines, multitask, follow instructions, and accept feedback.

    Be comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    Be able to manage customer service messages in the 24-hour metric requirement.

     

    Working Hour: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Full-Time)

    Required experience:

    · E-commerce: 2 years

    OR

    · Customer service: 3 years

    OR

    · EDI: 1 year
