Lakewood Dental Arts is seeking a Call Center Representative to join our team. We’re looking for a long-term team member—someone who is responsible, professional, and outgoing, with strong multitasking abilities and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate enjoys working with both adult and pediatric patients and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer high-volume incoming calls professionally and efficiently
Schedule and confirm patient appointments accurately based on provider availability
Check and respond to emails in a timely and organized manner
Verify insurance eligibility (ELG checks) and document information
Communicate clearly with patients regarding dental procedures and treatment plans
Communicate effectively with the front office team to ensure smooth scheduling and patient flow
Qualifications:
At least one year of experience in a dental office or call center role
Knowledge of dental procedures, treatment planning, and insurance plans is required
Strong understanding of HMO/PPO dental insurance, eligibility checks, and terminology
Prior experience with Open Dental software is a plus
Excellent phone etiquette, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Dependable with a commitment to long-term growth and consistent attendance
Office Schedule:
Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
