Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping clients navigate their insurance needs. This role involves sales, where you will engage with potential clients, assess their insurance requirements, and provide tailored solutions. A successful Insurance Agent will demonstrate exceptional negotiation abilities and maintain a customer-focused approach to service.

Duties

Engage in sales activities to identify and acquire new clients.

Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate insurance products.

Negotiate policy terms and conditions with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.

Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups using sales administration tools.

Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance outreach efforts.

Stay informed about industry trends, products, and regulations, including HIPAA compliance.

Assist clients with benefits administration and provide guidance on policy claims as needed.

Utilize telemarketing techniques to reach potential customers effectively.

Foster relationships with clients to encourage referrals and repeat business.

Qualifications

Proven experience in insurance sales or related fields such as retail sales or outside sales is preferred.

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.

Proficient analytical skills for assessing client needs and developing tailored solutions.

Familiarity with marketing strategies relevant to the insurance industry is advantageous.

Previous experience in benefits administration is beneficial but not required.

Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team dynamics.

A valid insurance license will be required. Prefer to be licensed but training and licensing will be provided if needed.
