Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, patient-focused Call Center/Scheduling Department Representative to support our growing dental group. This is a permanent, full-time role working Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. You will play a vital part in ensuring a seamless experience for patients during our after-standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and manage incoming phone calls
Schedule, confirm, and modify patient appointments accurately and efficiently
Provide clear, courteous, and professional information about services, insurance, and office policies
Manage appointment changes, cancellations, and patient inquiries
Coordinate with clinical staff to maintain optimal scheduling flow
Make outbound calls for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and filling schedule gaps
Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality
Maintain detailed and accurate notes in scheduling software
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in a dental or medical call center strongly preferred
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Proficient in dental scheduling software (Open Dental, etc.)
Must be available and committed to working the Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM shift
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
