Position Summary: Efficiently prepare and ensure consumer loan documents are complete, accurate and compliant.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Ensure all underwriting stipulations are met prior to loan processing of all consumer loan products, excludes real estate loans.
Update Dealertrack for all CU refinanced collateralized loans
Compliance oriented- Maintains knowledge of local, state, and federal laws/regulatory requirements as related to Truth in lending, Reg B, Reg Z, and Bank Secrecy Act
Identifies red flags, inconsistencies, and errors prior to loan disbursal in efforts to protect the member and organization
Prepares and provides title information and package to account records associate for all processed loans to ensure lien perfections on collateralized loans
Perform necessary loan maintenance
Complete daily review of prior day funded loans to include verifying all required documents have been signed and imaged
Handle stop payment requests for loan proceed checks
Ensure branches are supplied with check stock inventory on quarterly basis or as needed
Upkeep of procedures
Assist in training and development of lending staff
Provides loan servicing support, as needed.
Highly efficient and creative- adapts to new loan processing systems quickly and suggests updates/enhancements/improvements to current documents and/or systems.
Communicates effectively and in a timely manner- in writing and verbally, with team mates, insurance companies, dealerships, and vendors
Actively participates in and completes all ongoing loan and sales training
Adapts quickly to changes in work environment/structure
Participates in self-development programs such as BVS courses.
Consistently and quickly delivers high quality work- low audit errors, high volume of loans
Prioritizes work quickly to deliver the best member experience
Supports marketing loan efforts

Qualifications:
High school diploma equivalent work experience required
One year lending experience
Teamwork- Displays flexibility regarding schedule and fosters a spirit of cooperation to ensure the success of the team
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to compose a professional letter or e-mail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Displays an upbeat and positive attitude
Attention to detail comes naturally- possesses strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
Acceptable background check; credit, criminal and insurance
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:
This position requires the employee to work indoors in a typical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations, and the ability to stand, walk stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 1-25 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with arms, talk and hear.
