Reports to: Admissions Director
FLSA status: Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Hours per week: 20 hours, Part-Time
Campus: Melbourne

Job Summary:
This position will support Calvary Chapel Academy in communicating with prospective families, help with the Admissions Department's daily operations, and aid the Admissions Director as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage communication needs for the school, such as the weekly school newsletter and social media
· Coordinate tasks with the Marketing and Communications Director (1 Corinthians 14:40)
· Answer Facebook inquiries, and voicemails left for the Admissions department (Colossians 4:6)
· Make daily or weekly posts on social media
· Assist with school tours for perspective families (Acts 20:28)
· Complete change forms and check requests
· Assist with placement testing, open houses, and parent nights
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor (Colossians 3:23)
Job Skills and Competencies:
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Publisher, Excel, etc.) software
· Experience with or the ability to learn Adobe Acrobat and Canva
· Comfortable with social media platforms
· Strong spelling, grammar, and typing skills
· Attention to detail
· Ability to write with a provided style guide
· Self-motivated and independent
· Photography skills a plus but not required
Other Qualifications:
· Must attend and participate in a local Bible-believing church
· Keep the ministry in the forefront of all you do, with a servant heart and optimistic attitude (Philippians 2:3)
· Conduct yourself in a manner that reinforces the core values and mission of Calvary Chapel and agree to our Statement of Faith
· Function as a productive part of the church staff and attend staff meetings in coordination with direct supervisor (1 Peter 4:10)
